The creation and up gradation of the Ministry of Human Rights has made our beloved country in the line of those, in international brotherhood, who believe in honor and dignity of human beings, and are committed to running a welfare state.It was a long awaited act which goes to the credit of the present, democratically elected Government of Pakistan. Need of time has made us face a challenge which can be met only by hard work and dedication along with support from people of Pakistan and the Provincial Governments

The Federal Ministry of Human Rights, upgraded from the status of a division in November 2008, has since then been putting its utmost efforts, along with its four regional offices in the provinces, not only for addressing the need of a body that can protect people’s human rights but also, has been promoting a culture of respect of human rights in the country.
