Human Rights-Based Protection of Children Affected by Armed Conflict UNICEF

To combat the human rights situation emerging from armed conflict and battle in Swat, the Ministry has signed an agreement with the UNICEF on "Human Rights-Based Protection of Children Affected by Armed Conflict", on June 5, 2009.

In pursuance of the agreement, the Ministry is carrying out following activities with financial assistance of Rs.4 million from the UNICEF:
 
Conduct a Situation analysis on protection of children in Madressah in Pakistan.
    international obligations.
 
Develop advocacy kit on children Affected by Armed Conflict for Parliamentarians and conducting hearing
    session with parliamentarians.
 
Monitoring and Report on the violation of child rights.
 
Awareness-raising events through media (TV Channels and Radio).
