Provincial Consultation on Implementation of National Action Plan on Business and 
Human Rights
Ministry of Human Rights in collaboration with United Nations Development Programme, 
Pakistan held a one day consultation with all relevant Provincial government stakeholders as well 
as private business entities on implementation of National Action Plan on Business and Human 
Rights (2021-2026) on 2nd July, 2024 in Faletti’s Hotel. The session discussed important 
initiatives undertaken to implement NAP-BHR including the proposal to constitute Provincial 
Steering Committee on Implementation of NAP-BHR. Further, the Human Rights Due Diligence 
Framework as adopted by the Inter-Ministerial and Inter-Provincial Steering Committee on 
Implementation of NAP-BHR was discussed quite extensively with all stakeholders for 
implementation. All stakeholders shared updates and resolved to implement this plan with full 
commitment
