MoHR through its Transgender Protection Centre, organized sensitization and awareness workshop for healthcare providers at the Federal Government Polyclinic auditorium. Aligned with the implementation of the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2018, and its Rules, the session engaged 42 healthcare professionals—including doctors, paramedics, lab technicians, and emergency care staff—to foster understanding and equip them to deliver inclusive and supportive care to transgender individuals in healthcare settings.
