MoHR held the 5th Meeting of the Steering Committee on the National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights, chaired by Federal Minister Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar. Secretary MoHR and representatives from all provinces, federal ministries, and key stakeholders were present. The Ministry shared progress on due diligence frameworks, labor rights, gender inclusion, and coordination efforts. The Minister highlighted the need for improved safety standards in the mining sector and urged provinces to develop an integrated Labour Management Information System (LMIS). The Committee reaffirmed its commitment to business and human rights and endorsed the 2025–26 implementation plan.
