Provincial Consultation on List of Issues Related to Pakistan’s Second Periodic Report on

Ministry of Human Rights Islamabad successfully conducted one day consultation with all
relevant provincial stakeholders on 11th July, 2024 in Serena Hotel, Peshawar on List of Issues
related to Pakistan’s Second Periodic Report on International Covenant on Economic, Social and
Cultural Rights. Furthermore, List of Issues related to International Convention on Elimination
of all Forms of Racial Discrimination were also discussed as Pakistan will be presenting its
report before treaty body in August, 2024. The session provided an avenue to learn mutually and
share updates on all important initiatives which correspond with issues raised by the treaty
bodies. The provincial stakeholders iterated their commitment to share information on List of
Issues on priority.
