Federal Minister for Human Rights, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, received the EU GSP+ monitoring delegation led by Mr. Sergio Balibrea, accompanied by Ambassador H.E. Raimundas Karoblis. Secretary MoHR, Abdul Khalique Sheikh, was also present. The Minister highlighted Pakistan’s strong engagement with the GSP+ framework, ongoing human-rights reforms and progress on key legislative and institutional measures. The delegation shared their suggestions and areas for further focus on strengthening human-rights implementation. Both sides expressed appreciation for the continued Pakistan–EU partnership and ongoing cooperation to advance shared development and governance priorities.
